DAY 1

Hey there. This is the beginning of my journey to losing weight and finding myself.

Back-story: Today is my eighth anniversary since I married my Amazing Husband (AH!). In high school I participated in 5k and 10k races, frequented the gym, and ate candy for lunch everyday. I weighed, on average, 165 pounds, In college, I didn't eat much at all (not intentional) and ran around campus. After moving to Arizona I worked at a gym and weighed 145.


8 awesome years, and 5 crazy kids, later I weigh in at 249.8. Let me tell ya, it's not a happy place to be. At 5'6 and 27 years old, my calculated ideal weight should be between 118 and 155 pounds. My current BMI is 40.3 kg/m² and ideal is between 19 and 25. I took some body measurements and will share my least favorite three today so we can track some progress.
Waist: 108 cm
Thigh:79 cm
Upper arm: 41 cm

I am also addicted to eating...especially crappy, sugar filled, processed crap. So I need to work on that too. 

This morning I attempted to start Bikini Body Mommy's 90-day challenge 1.0. I made it through the warm-up but couldn't even finish the fit test without being completely out of breath. I will keep working on that. Maybe check out her 2.0 or 3.0 versions.
